The program consists of volunteers who go into classrooms to give a visual presentation on an artist which is followed by a hands-on art project with the students. Typically during the year, there are six different lessons presented. Monthly training sessions provided. Learn more here.

Help our school earn money by submitting Box Tops. You can do much of the work from home. Twice a year (Oct/Feb) post the collection poster at school to let everyone know we’re collecting Box Tops they have been saving. Count, bundle and ship them off to be tallied.
This resource at the Beaverton School District offices provides free clothing to families with limited income in the Beaverton School District. Each school staffs the Closet once a year. Volunteer for a two-hour shift between 10:00 and 4:00. You will help families find what they need.
Donuts at Dawn
This annual event is fun for kids and adults! Organize the ordering and pick-up/delivery of donuts, coffee and milk. Along with a team of volunteers, also be on hand day-of the event to coordinate.
This is one of our big fundraisers of the year. Students seek pledges for running and take pride in being physically active. We need volunteers to help count number of laps, collect contribution envelopes, hand out snacks and water, and cheer on our Red Tail Hawks. Loads of fun!! Many volunteers needed to make this a success! We need both committee volunteers and day-of event volunteers.
Lost & Found
A few times throughout the school year, unclaimed clothing from Montclair School goes to the Clothes Closet for local families and children with limited resources. The lost items are displayed in our school, and when left unclaimed, clothing items are sorted, laundered, and delivered to the Clothes Closet.
Muffins in the Morning
This annual event is fun for kids and adults! Coordinate the ordering and pick-up/delivery of morning treats, coffee and milk. Along with a team of volunteers, also be on hand day-of the event to coordinate.
Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB)
Students read a selection of books and answer questions based on books content. Assist school organizer setting up classroom teams, take pictures, decorate bulletin board, and coordinate with teachers. Learn more here.
Help our kids look their best as they get their school pictures taken. Escort classes, prime and primp students, and assist photographers for one or more hours during the school day.
Assist with sales of books for this library fundraiser. Set up and break down help needed as well.
Assist with school supply kit orders through SchoolKidz staples program.

Staff Appreciation Week
During the last several weeks of school, parents from each grade provide a lunch once a week to honor and appreciate our wonderful Montclair teachers and staff. The chairperson schedules the lunch days with office staff, and finds a lunch coordinator from every grade, who then coordinates each grade lunch.
Valley Theater Tickets
Assist with distribution of flyers communicating the program; including dates, times and movies offered.
Plan and work on the yearbook. Duties include coordinating volunteers to take photos throughout the year in the school and at events and produce for print a yearbook that goes to every student on the last day of school.
